WARNING: A LOT OF BLOOD‼️ it’s 4 am and i just had the scariest period experience i’ve ever had. i woke up because i had a bad dream and then i felt like my pad didn’t have much on it (it’s the second day of my period) but i accidentally pushed when i was rearranging myself and felt a lot come down. so i decided to go pee and change my pad which i never do in the middle of the night. when i went to pee, my pad had a lot of clots in it but it wasn’t overflowing with blood and they were the ones i had just pushed out and were about the same size i’ve always had them, although some of them looked more coagulated and purpleish but i thought no big deal. i pee and no blood comes out. i wipe and there’s not much blood. then, i stand up and take my pad out, and i notice blood on the toilet seat and on the floor:

i then look down and i just start gushing blood like i’ve never seen before and it got on the floor and on my underwear, i had to put my hand over it while it was gushing and the toilet paper got soaked

so as i put my hand down there to catch the blood, this comes out and onto my hand (i also circled it in the picture above):

it was kind of like tissue paper but i’m positive it wasn’t toilet paper or anything like that because it came out of me and into my hand when the blood was gushing, and there’s no instance where i would’ve accidentally had a piece of toilet paper get stuck up there or anything like that. since it really looked like tissue, i assume it could be just a part of my uterine lining? i’ve never had anything like this come out, i’m 18 and i am sexually active but 1) i always use a condom 2) i always check if they break or not (plus the “thing” wasn’t rubbery so it couldn’t have been a piece of condom) 3) i always make my partner pull out in addition to using a condom and all my periods have been regular and on time (including this one) so i just have no idea what this could be and i’m scared.

and then, when i thought the massacre was over, i was still standing naked and i coughed and some droplets of blood fell on the floor and i wiped and there was this:

these are typical in size but i don’t usually have that much in so little time. i can’t go to the er or the gyno as it is 4 am but also i’m scared to tell my mom because i don’t want her to find out i’m sexually active which might be a stupid reason to some of you but i’d be in some deep shit and i’m just too scared to tell her cause even though it probably isn’t sex related, idk what she’ll think
