BLW and constipation?

My son has had less and less bowel movements since starting BLW. He doesn't eat that much, but I was wondering if it was enough to back him up. Should I stop BLW or is it normal for him to have less poop?

The same thing happened to us when we started BLW I didn’t realize you were suppose to start water as well. Now, I offer water at every meal and no more constipation!

My LO poops HUGE!! At least twice a day if not more. We do BLW as well. We just started water but have had no issues with constipation. Definitely keeping her diet balanced with fruits and veggies seems to help. Their little bodies are adjusting. 
Pears are good for constipation. Maybe no bananas for a few days?? We also nurse before meals so that helps too. My milk is still the best thing for her so we start with that.

We’ve had similar issues. She is still pooping daily (sometimes skipping a day) but they are much harder. I’ve made sure to increase her water intake and that has helped a ton!

Make sure to give water with each meal. Also, I read unripe items can cause constipation. I gave my son some plums, thinking that would be good for his tummy and bowel movement, and one wasn’t ripe justttt yet and he got super constipated from it.

My LO struggles sometimes with BMs. If i give her fruit daily in the morning. than that seems to keep her regular.

It’s completely normal don’t stop introducing solids it’ll just keep happening his body is just adjusting. You need to introduce him to water at this point to help with digestion and help wash down all the foods hes taking. It should last just a few days maybe a week and it’ll get better his body is just adjusting. My little one would cry in pain when he had to go and eventually it got better and better.
