Natural ovulation but on clomid???

My dr has started me today in clomid I do ovulate naturally we think.... But he feels this might be what I need also. Has anyone else ovulated naturally on your own but still take clomid? Can this help ?

Same here ovulate on my own but Dr gave me Clomid for 3 months to see if it would help us conceive before we try IVF. I’m on cycle 3 now so giving up hope that it’s going to work for us.

My OB never even went through those steps to see if i ovulate she just assumes I am because I’m having a cycle on my own and that wasn’t normal for me . I just picked up my clomid today but decided to wait until next month because i see more success rates with days 3-7 vs5-9

Yes I did I ovulate on my own but did 3 cycles of clomid no luck with it tho I had a tubal reversal Jan 2017 and found out Jan 2018 I only have my right tube my left was took over from scar tissue.  But my doctor went back in with a minor surgery and cleaned me out good so trying a few months by ourselves if nothing then gonna try clomid again
