Shortest birth story ever!

Cassie

My second babes Olivia Nicole was born at 37 weeks and 2 days, April 2, 2018, weighing 8.5lbs and 20 1/4 inches long!

Woke up around 3:30am feeling some mild contractions, didn’t think too much of them since I was only 37 weeks, but as the morning progressed they got worse and closer together. I tried my best and stuck them out until about 9am (they were sooooo painful!!), I took a shower and called my hubs telling him it was time to head to the hospital. Got to the hospital, checked in, and when I finally got my cervix checked for I was already 9 and a half centimeters dilated!! 😳 I was transferred to a birthing room, got my epidural, the doctor who was delivering Livi broke my water and I pushed through 3 waves of contractions and Olivia was born! (Btw that was the best birthing team ever!! Shoutout to them!) I’ve always heard after having your first child delivery is easier after that, but I didn’t expect it to be that fast. Haha. I am so unbelievably happy and exhausted! Wishing and sending everyone love and good luck! 💕💕
