Blood blister

My baby girl managed to pinch her finger playing and got a blood blister. Will it just go away on its own? I had put a bandaid on it, but she chewed it off so... I know I need to leave it alone because I don’t want it to be open, but should I try to keep a band aid on it or just leave it alone? Thanks!
