My husband never wants to improve our house, well he does.... he just reuses to do it.

We started putting up tongue and groove (wood on our walls) in our living room, 5 months later and my very small living room is still unfinished. He started putting up the trim, I now have trim around ONE window. We literally have all the materials he just finds every excuse why not to work on it.

We had some rough neighbors move in recently and my husband wants to just put a dead bolt on our old door instead of putting up our brand new door that has to be installed anyways 🤔🤔 we have the door already. He wants the door in, it’s half glass whereas the current door is solid. He always complains he can’t see into our back yard.. Tada.. put the door in and you can see!

He literally has so much knowledge to do all of this stuff too. It’s just laziness. He worked home improvement with his dad from 11-23 years old.

We recently put in a fireplace. He is the one who wanted rock around it. Said it would be a piece of cake to put up .. it sat there for 3 months and I finally got his dad over to put it up for me. It’s still partially unfinished because my father in law got busy and said my husband could finish it.. 6 months later we still have a partially done fireplace.

Anyone else’s husband like this??

It’s not even like I’m piling projects on him. HE wanted the rock. HE wanted the wood. HE wanted the new door 🤷🏼‍♀️
