Hey, Ladies! My brother called me this morning and told me he and his girlfriend are getting married in a few weeks. I'm super stoked, they've been together for 10+ years so this was a long time coming. They are just doing a small courthouse wedding when my parents are road tripping through here next month. My question to all of you: that was the weekend I was going to announce my pregnancy to my family so I could face to face but I don't want to steal his thunder. Should I do it, like, the week before, like over Skype (which I'm totally willing to do) or the weekend after so he can have his time to shine? Thing is, I'm nervous that if I don't have champagne or any alcohol during meals that weekend, everyone will know something's up...thunder stolen. This is our rainbow baby after a very traumatic miscarriage right around Christmas last year so once its known its going to be a big deal. If I tell the weekend before is that enough time to let it "die down" for my brother to have his special moment?? Thanks!!
