Natural in birthing center. Wasn't an option here but wanted to share anyway

Medicated all the way. I tried to be a hero with my daughter and got to almost 8 cm naturally. No one is giving me a medal at the end of this so this time I'm walking in and asking for the epidural. The pain is absolutely excruciating as you progress. By the time I gave in to get the epidural I was 7 cm and then it took the anesthesiologist 30 mins to get to me. That was an awful 30 mins because I was already at such a high level of pain and the contractions were coming so often and lasting so long. I do not recommend trying to be a hero but that's just my experience!
