I had just woke up about 20 minutes before so I was good and awake, definitely not hallucinating. My husband is currently at work working until 3pm so I’m home alone. I’m currently 20 weeks pregnant so I was laying on my side trying to get the back pain to stop when I hear something in the bed beside me. I turn over real slowly because I’m scared shitless and it’s a mouse and I’m not talking about Mickey!!! A MOUSE IN MY DAMN BED!!! 😱

I sling the covers back and it throws the poor thing across the bed. I’m so shook up I don’t even notice him get down. I call my husband and of course there’s nothing he can do about it because he’s an hour away at work. I call my mom and all she can do is laugh at me! 😡

I’ll add that I’ve known about this mouse for a couple of days now. He really likes our bedroom for some reason. I’ve set out a live trap for him but he’s too smart for that shit. I expressed my concerns when I first found out and my husband swore there was no way he’d get in the bed with me 🙄

My husband and my mom both believe it’s because I’ve been nice to the mouse. There’s nothing I can do if I see it out in the open so I just tell him to go on. I don’t have the heart to kill it or be mean to it. It’s doing what comes natural to it and trying to find food. But with that being said it doesn’t belong in my bed!

So here I am over an hour later still trying not to shit myself, with the lights on and sitting up in bed on high alert. I’ve put the live trap near the bedroom door where he likes to run in and out off hoping I can outsmart him!

Y’all please pray for me that he doesn’t decide to be my bed partner again and that I can get him out of my house!! I appreciate that he’s affectionate and not an asshole but I’d rather him keep his love at a distance!

UPDATE: So after a few hours of seeing the little bastard run around my bedroom and literally run right by the live trap like it’s nothing I have retreated to my sons nursery. He’s not due until August so for now mommy is using his crib mattress. But now I’m hearing shit in the vent! I swear if we have multiple mice in this house I’m going to snap! My biggest concern is snakes. My absolute worst fear is a snake and I’m terrified if a mouse can get in so can a snake. My husband says it’s highly unlikely but he also said a mouse couldn’t get in our bed but here we are 😡😭 I don’t want to kill the poor thing but when my husband gets off work we’re getting sticky traps and we’re going to my mamas for a day or two!
