positive opk on cycle day 28 and possibly implantation bleeding?

I have a positive opk on cycle day 28 and light pink in my cervical mucus and some brown paste spotting. I took an HPT yesterday but the line was so faint I threw away the test. if my HPT was pretty much negative what is going on?
