Is the “GLOW” app predicting it right??

We are TTC since few months now and My Dr said to participate from day 11 - 16 of the month (day 11 including the start date of my periods).

When i entered my period dates in <a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.glow.android">GLOW app</a>, it is predicting the 15-19 days as most fertile for me for this month. Am confused. Please help!!

you need to know how long your cycles are then subtract 12-14 days fron that number to figure out approx when you ovulate. pay close attention to cervical mucus. it should increase at this time. ex 30 day cycle minus 14...anticipate peak fertility around 16 days after start of period.

The only way to know for sure is to buy some ovulation tests. Or you could try tracking your BBT.

Glow makes guesses according to an algorithm. Buy some OPKs and pay attention to your body.

Your doctor has more insight to your body. But you have even more. Glow is just an algorithm, it counts 14 days out from the start of your period and BAM that's when you ovulate. 
If you start puting more info into the app it will change your ovulation (fertile window) based on that info.
