My son turned 6 months on the 24th of March and is now able to be put in the bed and go to sleep on his own. We just started doing this 4 days ago. I'll lay him down and stay there until he's comfortable. Then I'll kiss him say I love you and leave the room. Leave the door open only a crack and he goes to sleep! Doesn't fuss or anything. I heard him making noise twice since doing this.. not crying. More like I'm trying to stay awake soft coos! Its kind of a bitter sweet moment for me. I'm happy I don't have to fuss with him but I'm also sad that he no longer needs his mamas snuggles to go to sleep 😭
