I got my first period 13 weeks after my c section and the first two days it was just very light spotting and now for the past 6 days it has been the heaviest period I’ve ever had..

1. Is it normal for a postpartum c section period to last 8 days?! My typical period prior to my first pregnancy was very mild and about 3/4 days and even after that vaginal birth it stayed the same. After this c section I’m thrown for a loop!

2. Is it normal for it to get heavier as the days go on?? I’d think it would have been the opposite. I’m still feeling gushes come out 8 days from the start of it.

Maybe this is TMI for some but I’m starting to get nervous so anyone who has any input or experience or advice, please let me know!!
