Is is ok to sleep with Tampons??

I've just recently started using Tampons and I wasn't sure if leaving them in for that long of a time was safe? Any tips would be much appreciated:)

You shouldn’t leave a tampon in for more than 8 hours as this increases the risk of Toxic Shock Syndrome. It should say that on the instructions inside the pack of tampons. So it really depends how long you sleep for I suppose? I personally like to use tampons during the day and pads at night, for peace of mind.

I sleep with a tampon in, it’s fine. I sleep for roughly seven hours

I've left mine in for 10 to 12 hours before, sleeping with them is fine.
