I have had Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome since I was 14 (now 28). Never have had regular or light periods. I’ve had 2 c-sections, one 5 yrs ago and the other just 4 months ago. I had a bilateral tubal ligation done during my last c-section due to complications during both pregnancies, I knew I didn’t want to go through it again. Two days ago I just got my first cycle since December 2016! I’m going through a heavy flow overnight pad every hour and also expelling clots. I’ve managed to trash 2 pairs of panties and a set of bedding in just 2 days. I can not use tampons, they give my horrible abdominal cramping and chills.

My mom had a full hysterectomy done in her 30s due to similar problems.
