Am I really being rude or ungreatful?

My youngest sister can not conceive naturally. She lost both her tubes due to Eptopics.  This morning I was talking about getting my tubes tied cause this is my 4th! She went nuts and said if I did that made me extremely selfish.  She was all like you are willing to end your God given fertility??? She has no clue I'm pregnant with my 4th!  Is is really wrong of me?

No, it’s not wrong of you at all. Her inability to conceive naturally, while upsetting, has no bearing on what you decide to do for yourself.

No you aren’t being rude or ungrateful. Your tubes have nothing to do with her struggle. This coming from someone who has not been able to have children yet, I would not be offended by someone wanting to do that. There are things that do bother me like certain comments and things but that literally doesn’t have anything to do with her!!

No its not rude since its your body and your choice. Im preggos with baby #7 and even though it seems like im crazy lol i would never tie mine...i’ve thought of it and it makes me sad lol have you ever thought of being a surrogate for your sister?

It’s not selfish. A lot of people can’t do certain things. Doesn’t make it right to put shame on someone else who isn’t like them

Absolutely not selfish, the decision you make on how many children you have has nothing to do with your sister or anyone else who may struggle with infertility. 
You could counter that it may be considered selfish to have more than four children, due to scarce resources available on this planet. You could also suggest that it may be selfish to have more children than you can really give attention to, just for the sake of having more children. You’ll be a better parent to four children than you would to 12! :)
