Ive been getting periods for 8 years now. For the first 2 or 3 years I would get them every month without fail. But slowly they started decreasing. For 2 years straight i only got my period 3 times a year. I had an ultra sound this time last year to check for polycystic ovaries, which I dont have but I was told there is a cyst on my right ovary. My periods have started again but still very irregular. I will get them for two months in a row and then they are not seen for 2 or 3 months. Has anyone else come across this? Is it really serious? I have been to many doctors about this problem and none have seen anything wrong. I had my period in March and April but before then the last time was in December.
