Fluid leaking?

Question

37 weeks. Was laying on the couch for probably an hour or so, when I stood up I felt a small gush. I thought I was peeing but it stopped pretty quickly. Checked underwear there was a small colorless wet patch. Didn’t look like discharge I normally have. Could it be fluid? How can I tell?

I literally just had this happen about 6 hours ago and it was my water breaking. I would get checked.

I called l&d; last night, they said if it’s not continuing to leak over the next few hours or overnight it’s just watery discharge. I put on a pad and have been checking since but it’s completely dry so I’m guessing it’s nothing to worry about. 
No contractions either.

I say make a call to the hospital and go in.
They test to see if it was your water. Better safe than sorry.

I had this happen last week (was 38+2). It soaked my undies and as I was in bed it left a small patch on the bed - went into the hospital to get checked thinking maybe my water was leaking and it was just watery discharge 😩 I was so hopeful it was the start of things!

This happened to me and the doctor told me to come in right away. It was like a small gush and like water. I went in and he tested it for amniotic fluid and it came back negative. He said it just must be from hormones. I know for a lot of people it's complete opposite and ends up being fluid. I would call and get checked asap.

I have this happen all the time and it’s been just discharge every time sadly. I had about 1/4 cup all over the floor when I stood up from the toilet last week. So weird what our bodies do.

Same thing happened to me at 37 weeks. I went to L&D; and turned out not to be amniotic fluid. 
Apparently discharge can also be watery, clear and odorless. 
Get checked out to make sure though! Good luck!

This JUST happened to me. Laying in bed I felt two gushes of fluid and it did not look like discharge at all. Let us know what they say!
