My father was in a coma for about 10 days. Yesterday the doctors were going to pull the plug. Four days ago I told him while he was semi awake and he started crying and moving, they told me that they'd never seen anything like it. On the day they were going to pull the plug, he started talking, not a lot mind you, he's had tubes down his throat, but I told him again and he was so excited. My mom thinks I saved his life

It was our intention to tell my father-in-law today. We got him a mug that says "only the best dads get promoted to grandpa"... But it had to be a Father's Day gift instead of an announcement because my husband couldn't hold it in and told him last week lol

I live in Ohio and my parents live back in New York... So we had to tell them over FaceTime. I sent them a onesie that said "happy Father's Day" and a note that read "dear Papa and grandma... I love you! See you in February" and I got to see their reactions. Priceless!!!
