Should I tell my crush I like him?

I have liked this boy guy for a bit more than a year. I see him everyday and when I see him I smile and blush and he smiles back. I just want to tell him so bad but I don’t know if I should. My sister says not to until I become more of friends with him and my friends told to me tell him when Im ready. So I would really appreciate some other people’s opinions on this. Please help!!!

I think you should not wait until your friends because 1: your more likely to be friendzoned and 2: if he doesn’t feel the same you’ll be likely to lose a friendship which hurts more than losing an acquaintance. So, if you think there’s either a future for you guys or you just want it off your chest tell him!
