Too soon to get married?

Hey all! 
So my SO and I have been together for almost 5 years and got engaged back in December. I’m 22 he’s 23. His family is religious and super old fashioned when it comes to living together before marriage and all that Jazz. We lived together during our college years, without his family knowing. I currently live on my own now. And we had compromised to him sleeping over once a week. His mom doesn’t agree with it so lately he’s been copping out of the sleep overs. There’s more to the story but basically it’s causing a lot of fights. Does it make sense to push the wedding up a few months bcus of this (his mom being annoying about sleep overs and pre marital sex)?

I would never let someone, even my parents, dictate how I lived my adult life. No matter their views. It’s my life, it’s short, and I’m going to do what I want. Which is why I’m living with my boyfriend of one year and my parents are now fine with it.

don't let other people run your relationship. he shouldn't either. and you guys have already lived together.... my family is religious as well but my parents split and my mom was more lenient, my bf moved in and we shared a room and twin size bed since there was nowhere else for him to go. we are now married almost 5 years. together for 10 this December and ttc baby #1 if you're both wanting marriage and planned to anyways. just go for it.

Idk... maybe talk it out or just get married on time so she can shut the fuck up. He has to understand that you're getting ready to be the number one woman in his life. Your opinion should matter more than hers so he needs to start acting like it. He plans on building a family and a home with you NOT HER. So he needs his priorities straight
