3 weeks ago I was sick with a cold and half way through the week my baby catches something. We waited about 3 weeks for her to fight it off, no fever, but couldn't stand her being sick still. The doctors had suggested giving her albuterol. We did out first treatment Friday and a few hours later she projectile vomited everywhere. We were quite scared being first time parents so we cut the dose in half.(2 inhaler pumps and 10 breaths and we cut to 1 pump and 5 breaths) she had maybe 3 treatments after that and vomited Saturday and then had 1 or 2 treatments Sunday. I also came down with sickness again Saturday. I'm planning to call the doctor in the morning to ask about both of us. I had seen albuterol can lower baby's fight for other sicknesses and I don't need her catching whatever I got this time. Now, her mucous has loosened up but she's been really fussy. Her eyes have a lit of good and they get stuck shut. She still hasn't had a fever at all. Does this sound normal for being on albuterol? She's only 3 months old and she's been miserable. I've been miserable. I'm hoping they can maybe give me some antibiotics and maybe it'll help her as well since I breast feed.
