Is it just me?

Or, does everything men say at the moment seem trivial?

My job is very male orientated but I’ve got one guy sitting behind me, who is single and lives alone, complaining he’s tired because he was playing some online games last night.

There is another guy who phoned in sick because he isn’t quite over his hangover from Saturday night.

Another guy took a day off last week because he wasn’t feeling quite right and wanted a full days rest to see if it would help.

I don’t know if it’s my hormones but I can’t seem to show any sympathy at all for them. I’ve lost 10lbs in 4 weeks due to morning sickness and I’ve also not been able to sleep very well. I’m exhausted, and look like I haven’t brushed my hair in a week, but I’ve not missed a single day of work.

The only person who knows I’m pregnant is my line manager, so he understands, but he’s the one that’s off nursing the hangover.
