Hey ladies! I need some advice. I went to New Jersey for spring break and on the last two days of vacation I noticed this itch down there. At first it wasn’t that bad so I didn’t think much of it. I thought maybe take a bath and put some baby powder. The day I flew in, it got a lot worse and I noticed some white chunky discharge. Right away I assumed I got a yeast infection. I told my friend and she was like don’t worry I got a cream you can use. I’ve been using this cream for a little less than a week now and the discharge is practically gone but it’s still kind of itchy. Should i visit a doctor just in case? If I do visit my doctor how will she test to see if I have a yeast infection?

Another worry that I have is that I had sex for the first time about a month ago with someone I know has had multiple partners. We’ve had sex twice and the first time was with a condom and the second time without. At one point the discharge turned kind of like an off-white, beige-ish color. I looked it up and right away freaked out that I got an std or something. But since the discharge is mostly gone and the itch has improved a lot I should be in the clear right?
