Do you have to have a triphasic chart to be pregnant?!

This has been a debate between me and my mother since I started temping. She insists that you definitely need to have a triphasic pattern and that it happens right after ovulation since it happened to her with both me and my brother

I’ve seen triphasic charts that aren’t pregnancy charts and I’ve seen pregnancy charts that aren’t triphasic. Having a second temp jump just means your progesterone level has jumped up. Which CAN mean pregnancy, or it can just mean you have good progesterone levels

A triphasic chart is not a reliable indicator pregnancy. I have a triphasic cycle almost every time. The one cycle that I was pregnant was not triphasic.
