So about a week and a half ago I hd some spotting after having a positive pregnancy test. I called my doctor and they had me come in for blood work. My first levels came in about 5000. Two days later only 7200. So an ultra sound was scheduled. I thought I was around 5w5days and all we saw was an empty gestational sac. My doctor said I was going to miscarry most likely through the weekend. So I waited all weekend for this to happen and then Monday came. Wed I got a call from the office asking how I was doing. They scheduled more blood work again my levels came up but have not doubled. Two days later the same. So Friday my doctor pushed to have me take the pills to assist in miscarrying. But I wasn’t comfortable. I asked to have my levels checked and if they hd gone down I would agree. So we did and my levels again not doubling but went up so I just went for my US again and I am measuring at 5w 2 days and now have a yolk sac as well. So I went to my doctors after and she said I know you think everything is going to work out. But I still believe this is going to end with a miscarriage. You can do what you feel is right but I really think the pill would be a good idea for you. I couldn’t do it and am down having my levels checked again which doesn’t even make sense cuz they were over 9000 last time and over 6000 don’t double anyway. So confused and upset. This is my 4th pregnancy and I have never experienced this or a doctor with lack of empathy. Anyone else experience this with a good or upsetting outcome
