Solids over milk???

Question

My son is just over 8 months old and most meal times he doesn’t want his milk. He gets a bottle of breastmilk or formula. I’m not sure if it’s a teething thing or what. I know milk or formula is still suppose to be their main source of food but what if he won’t drink it?!! Ugh 😑

My son did this for a long time. I started giving him his formula on a spoon. I would mix it up with some baby food and add some cereal to thicken it up. He grew out of it. Not sure if it had anything to do with teething. He started teething at 3 months had two teeth by 5 months and had 4 teeth at 7 months now he’s 8 months and has four teeth coming in but he’s refusing baby food and only wanting milk

Sounds exactly like my daughter ...she drinks like 3 oz of milk almost every feeding and she usually drinks 6

My baby is 8.5 months and for the last month he rarely wants to take his bottle. I usually get him to take about 22oz of formula a day tho.. thats in a 24hr period! He rather have what we’re eating, so I make sure he gets his fruits and veggies daily and at least 6oz of water throughout the day!
