there was an add on Craigslist for a local home for rent, I visited the home, and messaged who I Thought was the owner, ended up putting first, last, and a deposit down on the home. The day before we were supposed to move in, there was a maintenance person checking out the house, he told us the owner was not trying to rent the house only sell it, and things got more fishy from there, ended up having the real owner call me and tell me to contact the police right away. The person was using the

owners name and information, I pawned my fucking wedding ring to try and get this home for my husband and unborn child. now I'm out a wedding ring and $2,000. Homeless and pregnant, luckily my husband and I are servers so we can afford a hotel room for a few days while we wait for a detective to see if we can recover the money. I still can't believe everything that happened.
