Dark movies while pregnant

Maybe I'm just crazy, but this really bothers me. I don't like dark, demonic, ducked up movies in general - I'm not a fan of bringing that negativity into my life. Now that I'm pregnant I especially don't want that negative energy. My mom didn't do it while she was pregnant with me and I plan the same. My boyfriend just completely disrespects that and keeps turning on these really morbid movies. Honestly he was more likely to turn it off BEFORE we were expecting. Am I over reacting?
