First love - forever?

I have been with my first boyfriend since we were 14 and we are turning 20 later this year. Everyone always told me that it's bad to stay with one person your whole life and need to venture out. However, I'm completely happy and I know he's all I need! I want to know if anyone has an opinion on this and if they're in a similar situation. -happily in love!-

Definitely not a bad thing. What's wrong with two people being in love with each other for the rest of their lives? Today, that's rare! I married my first and only boyfriend, the only person I've ever been intimate with. When we first started dating when we were 17, a lot of people doubted us and told us that realistically, we weren't going to be together forever because the honeymoon stage doesn't last. While we may not be in the honeymoon stage anymore, we're still very much in love and continue to prove those very same people wrong. Don't listen to the doubters as long as both of you are happy. :)

That's not true. If you both love each other and your connection is great , I say stay with your first love. Cause it will be hard to Find another man that will love you like that and who really knows you.

I don't see how that would be bad, I think that's amazing! Forget what other people say, if you're happy, that's all that matters! I'm my boyfriends first girlfriend and we've been together since high school and even though he isn't my first boyfriend, he's my first love. I lost my virginity to him and I wouldn't want it any other way, I'm glad I waited and he was my first❤️ Now we're expecting our first baby in February!

Whoever said that is stupid! All that matters is that your happily in love! I wish my first love was my so now but unfortunately I went through a couple before I got to the right one. People that find there true, forever love first are just lucky :)

I think their is something really special when people have only ever been with each other and no one else. As long as you're not having doubts, keep it going! My husband and I were each other's first loves and everything else and their is a comfort in not ever having to imagine them with someone else. We dated 5 years and have now been married for one year and so far the past year is the best one!

It wasnt until my first love and i broke up that i realized how much i needed time to just be single and to find me. We were together from 17 to 20.  For me it was the best thing for me but everyone is different. I def suggest venturing out though

If you are happy that's all that matters! Do NOT let other people come between yall relationship. If you venture out you may regret it because when you do realize he was the one for you, it will be too late & things will never be able to go back to the way they were!
