Dye hair with tea...?

Question

I have dark blonde hair with some warm undertones. I would like to get slightly warmer hair, without harsh dyes.

Has anyone here dyed their hair with tea? And more specifically to add red tones? What type of tea did you use and what were the results?

I've read that rooibos tea enhances red, but I'm afraid of turning my hair orange.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

I've never dyed my hair with tea but if your afraid to turn your hair orange I would suggest just dying a small chunk of hair (that can be easily be covered by the rest of your hair) and see how it turns out instead of dying your whole head at once (:

Collect some hair off your brush or comb and test dye it. Also look into henna.

I've darkened my blonde hair with coffee. You have to do it a few times but it works
