Sooo I have an amazing apartment, it’s my first apartment. My boyfriend & I live together. When we first moved in I said a prayer over our home & asked God to protect & bless our home. So few months go by & it’s perfect… then the kitchen light came on by itself even though we turned the light switch off. We thought hey it’s just an old apartment it’s just a flaw. So fast forward to last night me & my boyfriend smelled a burning smell we inspected everything but couldn’t find where it was coming from so we just dismissed it since it was gone then we got ready for bed, we turned the lights off & went to our room closed the door & tried to go to sleep. I heard some noises like something opened but all the doors & windows were locked so no one could have gotten in. We dismissed the noise then when we turned our phones off we noticed the kitchen light beaming in from above the door. He got up & asked if I left it on but I didn’t, we both left the kitchen at the same time when he turned the light off. So he went out to see what it was & checked the house but nothing was out of the ordinary besides the light. So he made sure his keys were in place & that everything was in place & turned the kitchen light off. He locked our bedroom door & we went to sleep. Then I was woken up at 2:30am my alarm clock usually goes off at 3:30am. I could not go back to sleep at all. So I started to keep my mind blank but then I realized I was paying way too much attention to the little noises our place does make. So I tried to keep my mind busy by thinking about what I’m going to wear for my photoshoot, then I started to pray so that way I could go to sleep. Halfway through my prayer the covers are pulled off of me! My boyfriend was asleep so I just thought it was him doing it since he turned over. I was freaked out! I woke him up & asked why he did that & he said oh I’m sorry. I honestly hope it was him that did that. So this morning we get ready for work & everything in our place was fine doors were still locked everything was fine. As we were driving he asked me why I was up at 2 & he remembers telling me to go to sleep so I told him I was freaked out a bit about last night. He said it was weird & then asked me if I moved his keys from their normal spot. I said no then he said “that’s weird, they were the last thing i checked last night I always leave them on the right side of the table but this morning they were on the left.”

Like what if our perfect place is haunted? Someone just died on our block due to a fire, & our home is a house that has 3 apartments in the building 1 on each floor. Our neighbor above us has lived in our apartment for 4 years & just recently moved upstairs when we moved in. He never said anything about experiencing anything j I highly doubt he would stay in a haunted apartment/building for 4 years. Am I being paranoid or do you believe my place could be haunted?

UPDATE: 4/2019

So everything calmed down a bit as far as things turning on & moving ever since then. A couple of months ago I woke up in the middle of the night & I couldn’t sleep because my right leg was burning; I have fibromyalgia so I thought I was having a flare. The next morning I noticed a pretty bad cut/ scratch on my right leg!

Here it is. My nails aren’t long nor are they sharp. I didn’t have a hangnail like there was literally nothing that could scratch me like this on the bed.

About a month or two ago my boyfriend heard footsteps INSIDE our place. I was at work at the time & then he smelled something pretty foul but couldn’t find the source. Of course nobody was in the apartment.

So this past Friday we got some sage & blessed our house & on Easter Sunday got some holy water as well. Hopefully all calms down for good. It’s just crazy because it happens periodically instead of back to back. Hopefully this year we will have enough saved to move out. I’ll keep everyone updated.
