How to tell if I had a miscarriage

I took 4 pregnancy tests 1 said positive others were negative. So I defied to wait a couple weeks, my period is late by 5 days. But I went out last night and had a few drinks with the girls and this morning I woke up to thick dark red globs of blood, so I thought I started my period. Did some research and found some weird results of that could be a possible early miscarriage?! Not gonna lie I was pretty upset and disappointed with my actions. If anyone has any
