My psych started me on Zoloft recently for anxiety and panic attacks. I’ve now been taking it for 2 weeks.

For the past 4 nights I haven’t been able to sleep more than 2-3 hours per night. The doc also gave me Ativan to take as needed for panic or insomnia. I’ve been taking an Ativan (1mg) about and hour before bed, and it stops my mind from racing but I just can’t seem to go to sleep! I will just lie there for hours and it’s miserable.

I have a 13 month old to take care of and I’m home alone with him for half the week. This no sleeping is really wearing on me! What should I do? Any advice?? Will this side effect ever end on Zoloft?
