Can a women get pregnant first try?

I see how women on glow say how there still trying to get pregnant . Like does it take time? Can it take more than one try to actually get pregnant ? How does this work . Today I had sex and let him ejaculate inside me. I kinda hope I'm pregnant :) I'm scared that I'll miscarry

My hubby and his ex got pregnant the very first try, however it took him and I about 2 years...I felt so inadequate knowing I couldn't give him a child like she did, but eventually it happened.
