How long before period post - miscarriage?

Just looking for everyone's personal experience. We're TTC still, had a miscarriage between 8-9 weeks, surgical D&C; on March 7th. I was told at my 4 week post-op follow up to expect a period in the next 1-2 weeks (on April 5th) but so far, I'm not sure it's coming yet.

Had a d&c; after a blighted ovum. thought i was 12 weeks, but only measured 5w5d. took 9w1d for my period to arrive. i had no bleeding before or after the d&c; and a very light 1st period.

I didn't get my period until 6 weeks after my D&C; after MC at 12wks. When I got it I thought I might have to go to the er bc I was paralyzed by cramps. My cycle did go back to normal after that one.

I had a missed miscarriage in Jan 2016. I was supposed to be 11 weeks but baby was 8 weeks and no heartbeat. I had a d&c; and they told me not to expect my period for 4-6 weeks after. It came 4 weeks to the day after the d&c.; 
Two weeks sounds a little soon to me but I’m obviously not a doctor. I was still spotting from the d&c; at that point.

I had a natural miscarriage at 9 weeks on Jan 1st and my period came back 20 days later (15 days after the bleeding stopped) but my cycle was very regular to begin with. I let a couple normal periods go by and then we tried again and now I am 5 weeks along with our rainbow baby ❤️ I'm so sorry you had to go though this. It's been beyond hard for my hubby and I. Praying this one sticks 🙏🏻🌈✨
