Young moms, how did you balance college and motherhood?

Moms who went to college and had a baby at the same time, how did you deal?

I make the most of the time I have with my son and spend as much time as I have with him. make the sacrifice now so you won't have to later!

I would make sure I made a class schedule that worked. I loved packing my classes into two to three days a week only so that the rest of the week I could stay home all day with my son. I would get any reading or cleaning done on off days. If a professor canceled class or something as tempting as it was to go home I would stay on campus and get any important work done until the class would have been over. 
For projects I would try to find other students that would want to meet at times I could meet at. For example there are many students that work and go to school full time and could only meet evenings or nights. As a mom I never wanted to be away from my baby so late so I always mentioned my situation early on. 
There are many other things I can’t think of at the moment...
It was a sacrifice, but totally worth it!

I work as well as attend college my fiance and myself scheaduled our days off to coincide so we could have family time all day and we also put our classes in the mornings. Its really tough that I can say because I dont get to be with my daughter nearly as much as I want to be but its what has to be done to give her the best life I can give her. It will be a struggle but just remember the little face you are doing it for mama!!
