Any mommies with heart issues??
I had heart surgery 3 years ago and a lifelong heart condition that worsens when my heart beats fast. I have a fabulous Stanford OB and cardiologists who meet monthly to go over my chart and stay up to date on what's happening. They've decided to induce me this Friday (39weeks) and I will have an epidural immediately and keep it going, as they do not want the pain to increase my heart rate to cause an issue. They also will be monitoring my heart with an EKG machine the entire labor and I will have a cardiac nurse with me as well as my other ob nurses. we are days away and I'm starting to get nervous, I didn't have any of this with my daughter 8 years ago so it's completely different. Nerves are beginning to kick in and just needed some reassurance or advice from mommies who have been through something similar?
