Weightloss Surgery or Pregnancy

I'm 5'7" and 275 lbs and almost 30 (in June). I've lost control of my weight, gaining 60 pounds in 6 months. I'll be talking to my doctor about my options tomorrow.

My biggest concern of course are side effects and decreased fertility since I'll conceive when I'm 33/34 depending how everything goes.

On the other hand I already have high blood pressure so my chances of preeclampsia are high as well as a host of other complications staying obese.

Le sigh. 😧 If anyone has any advice or experience with this, I need all I can get.
