Has anyone travel with progesterone in oil injection?

Ladies, I’m in California and going to travel to Texas for Memorial Day. 
My question, can I carry my progesterone and needles? Or should it be checked in?

I would not check meds, temp control is horrible plus chance of lost luggage.    My mom is diabetic and travels with needles and meds all the time.   If you are concerned get a note from the nurse or show script with your name on it.

Do you need to take the shot while on the plane? If not, you should check them. Unless you’re only bringing a carry-on, then I’d check at the tsa website. They are very large needles.
