Have you started feeding your baby food off your plate yet?

My son acts very interested in my food and actually gets mad when I don’t share. I feed him baby food and the little puffs I just don’t know if it’s safe or not to feed him what I eat yet.

we've done baby led weaning since he was 6 months. He eats the same food we do.

I’ve done avocado, boiled peas and carrots, chicken, cooked potatoes. Anything soft I’ll let my son try.

My daughter will STARE at our food, so I started feeding her off my plate because I felt bad lol she wants REAL food lol

yeah george eats what we eat and always has a good variety of fruit and veggies throughout the day with yoghurts and high fat dairy. I was told the earlier you start the less fussy they will be. he goes nuts for a little chicken liver pate on toast or thai curry and rice

Baby led weaning!!  Once our girl realized there was food she could hold and put in her own face, she wanted nothing to do with purées!  😝

Sometimes depending on what we’re eating. Like I like him eat some of my sweet potato and I had guacamole once and let him try. He wants everything on our plate lol

If it's not too seasoned and is pretty soft I share. especially at restaurants

I give her  everything  I eat, that isnt spicy,dessert, fish or egg.  I cant really eat anything without her wanting to  try. And I'm  pretty picky with food, so I'd  want her trying as much as possible.
