I am a 23 and have lived my entire life with anxiety and depression. When I was younger I was diagnosed with ADD but my parents eventually just stopped buying my medication and never took me to that doctor again because I “outgrew it”. I don’t know if I actually have ADD or not because I’m okay without the medication and my mom says the school just wanted me to be on drugs.

I have a two younger brothers who have both been diagnosed with Aspergers. I have tried to research this and come across some info on how it displays differently in girls/women and it has me wondering if I may have been misdiagnosed several times at a young age just because I’m a girl.

Does the fact that my brothers are aspies make it more likely that I am as well? Is there any correlation of autism between siblings?
