I started seeing my boyfriend in Sept 2017 and we just found out we were pregnant last week and due in November. We are waiting to tell our families until we are further along. I am really nervous to announce it to friends and family because I don’t want to be judged.

He is an amazing guy and has been nothing but supportive and kind so far. We brought up all of our options and within 10 minutes we mutually agreed we were going to have and keep the baby.

I am almost 24 and my boyfriend is 31. We are both educated individuals with college degrees and solid full-time jobs. We were also planning on living together this year before we found out which my mom has already expressed some concern in. I should also add that my mother got pregnant with my oldest sister when she was 20, quickly married my dad, and gave birth when she was 21. They divorced 7 years later after 3 kids. I believe they will be understanding but the nerves are still there. I would be the youngest of the three and the first to give her a grandchild.

I am just wondering if anyone else has been in this situation and how you went about handling it/announcing it? Anything helps, thank you!
