Dysfunctional uterine bleeding?? Help ??

Has anyone been diagnosed with this? I went to the emergency room and this is what they told me. It only happened after sex. we stopped in the middle of it because of it. There was red blood ..like ..period like blood. I haven’t had much of anything on my pad though.. and this is the first time this has happened. I usually never bleed this far before my period (11moredaystilmyperiod) is it possible the doctor may be wrong ? Also not pregnant because they tested me but they didn’t do a blood test only a urine test.
