My bf never gave me a clear cut reason why he hates them he just stated he doesn’t want our daughter to use them. Now my issue is he isn’t the one with her all day & night while she’s screaming & crying. I make sure her needs are met but she’ll start to suck her hand or if I’m holding her she’ll open her mouth to suck my arm, neck etc. so I’ll give her a pacifier & it soothes her. I don’t understand how he feels it’s fair for me to have to endure her Hollering when it can simply be solved all because she wants something to suck on
