Clomid and Femera

So I was on clomid first two cycles ago. I had vision problems so my RE took me off and switched me to Femera. First, month on clomid BFN. Second month (last cycle) took Femera and BfN and I got my period yesterday on Father's Day after being a week late and my hubby and I disappointed that we were not. RE says I can only do one more round of Femera and then consult and he wants to move into IUI. Problem is Insurance does not cover it. And we can't afford it month after month. Is it common for this clomid/Femera medication to not work? And what did everyone so when the steep prices of IUI were a little much? Also even if we could afford it. How am I supposed to as a nurse work around a schedule of going into the office constantly? I work Homecare pediatrics and can't leave my patient to get blood work and ultrasounds every other day, did you girls take vacation time? Do employers work with you? I just need advice
