Yes I know all the benefits of breastfeeding and that it really is what’s best for babies but hear me out

So my son was born at 6 lbs 7 oz when we left the hospital he was 6 lbs 3 oz. 10 days after leaving the hospital we went to WIC. 6 13 they said. That’s great. Well the week after we went to his pediatrician. 6 11. He lost 2 oz. the first time he ever went to his pediatrician he had been in the 5th percentile this time he dropped to the 3rd. I didn’t like that at all. I didn’t like the idea of not breastfeeding because how judgmental everyone had seemed. Friends. Relatives. Even WIC. Despite that I switched to formula. He gained 3 lbs in 2 weeks. He jumped from the 3rd percentile to the 20th. So yes while breastfeeding works for some moms and babies it didn’t work for mine. #fedisbest
