Almost a year ago I went for sexual health check up as I was having smelly yellow discharge that was itchy and very very painful sex.

I was then tested negative for all STDs and the doc declared it as BV. Afterwards I completed 2 rounds of metronidazole over the months.

Fast forward I’m 10000x better now, almost back to normal! Most days I have normal discharge (white, clear, etc) However I still get this discharge now and then, usually after sex or sometimes even without.

It is thick, yellow and smells bad. A little itchy sometimes. Def not normal.

I am wondering if it is trich since it has not gone away. Any ideas?

Update: so I finally went for the appointment cause it’s so damn hard to make one. (Obviously no more discharge by now) Did a test and no trich no bv no yeast no nothing and they made me feel I was overthinking. I’m on my last day of period so was wondering if the blood affected. So upset and angry cause I know my is def not normal...
