So, I stopped all birth control bac in January (Nuvaring)because we decided to start trying to conceive. My periods were regular. My periods usually last about 5 days, and are really heavy with clotting. Well in March I had a 3 week period and my doctor gave me progesterone to stop the bleeding. At the time, I asked if the hormone would affect my next cycle and I was told it wouldn't. April's period was due on the 5th and it never started. On the 8th, I started spotting very lightly and this lasted until the 11th. I never actually bled, just had some pinkish and brownish spotting. Is there a chance that I could be pregnant, or did the hormone really mess up my period? I took an hpt on the 4th that was negative, but haven't tested again.
