did you end up having c-section after being induced for long hours?. how many weeks pregnant were you?

I was 39 weeks.  My son heart rate would dip with the meds. So they had to stop the meds.  Than I stop going Progressing. Doctor give me the choice c section or try the meds again. But that if my son heart rate dipped they would have to do the c section.  I said just do the c section. So happy I did. The doctor later told me that was a good choice because my son was in more distressed than we thought.

Had to be administered pitocin after water broke and realizing there was meconium in the fluid. 36 hours of labor, 18 of those hours having pitocin and was csectioned our because her heart rate kept rapidly dropping and I stalled at 6cm. Turns out my hips just aren’t wide enough to fully let a baby drop into the birth canal, causing her distress. All women are different because all of our bodies are different.
